Jousing is a Chinese provider of pre-hospital first-aid products and solutions for cardiac emergencies, integrating R&D, production, sales and services. As an industry pioneer which holds the first Class III Medical Device Certificate for domestically-developed AEDs in China, Jousing has launched a number of pre-hospital first-aid AED products and corresponding IoT management solutions.

Staying true to its mission of “being prepared to protect life at all times”, Jousing has obtained over 40 patented inventions since its establishment. It has also proactively participated in the creation of the Technical Guidelines for the Registration of External Defibrillation Products issued by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China, and contributed greatly to defibrillation technology and sample database development.

Jousing has been honorably recognized as a high-tech enterprise and has successfully obtained the ISO Quality Management System Certificate, NMPA Class III Medical Device Registration Certificate and CE Certificate. Following the AED registration guidelines issued by NMPA, Jousing became the first domestic company to obtain a Class III Medical Device Certificate for AEDs in China, breaking the dominance of imported brands in the Chinese market.

Nearly 40,000 Jousing AEDs have been installed across China, serving a broad range of clients and scenarios including military defense, firefighting, police, transportation, schools, communities, elderly care institutions, medical facilities, research institutions, large enterprises, industry parks, and major competition events. These products have also been exported to Europe and Southeast Asia and received high praise from overseas clients. To date, Jousing AEDs have helped save dozens of cardiac arrest patients’ lives.

In 2022, Jousing provided AEDs in all competitive and non-competitive venues across the three competition zones of Beijing, Yanqing, and Zhangjiakou for the Beijing Olympic Winter Games to ensure the safety of every participant, and received an official thank-you letter from the Beijing Organizing Committee.

Jousing AEDs have been installed in the Palace Museum, the National Museum of China, the National Library of China and other national-level venues. Jousing is actively promoting the development of an urban emergency rescue system in China to support the “Healthy China 2030” initiative.
